Why did my dad get angry when I said I got mind-read?

People tell me that he loves me. But ppl also say he is all sorts of bad stuff, but that all comes from his two ex-wives. why do I live with this, their is no way to take back the past and shut my mouth about it now. He is strong and he is explosive and I need ideas on how to get him off my back.
